Debra Exner is a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and she provides structure, feedback and support to help her clients identify and accomplish their goals. Debra started Exner & Associates in 1984, providing training, documentation and consulting services to corporations including Morgan Stanley, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Devereux, Advanta, Schering-Plough, and Citibank.
After hiring a coach and getting great benefit from the coaching process, Debra began training at the Coaches Training Institute in 2001, earning her Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) designation in 2003 and the International Coach Federations Professional Certified Coach designation in 2006. She completed training with Laura Berman Fortgang and became an Authorized Facilitator of the Now What: 90 Days to a New Life Direction program in 2005. She is a Master Certified Trainer of mPWR10.
Debra is the Past-President of the Phoenix chapter of the International Coaches Federation and a professional member and Vice President of the National Speakers Association-AZ.
She has been a co-leader of the Philadelphia Multiple Myeloma Networking Group; member of the International Myeloma Foundation Patient Advisory Committee; Past President and VP of Education of a Toastmasters chapter; a past President of Wilmington Women in Business; past President of the Delaware Chamber Music Festival; past President of TEMPO (Trainers and Educators of Metropolitan Philadelphia Organizations) and she launched TEMPO’s award-winning Philanthropy Committee; former representative on the Cancer Leadership Council; and former newsletter editor, board member and speaker for the Independent Computer Consultants Association. She has been a speaker at national, regional, and local training conferences including: Healthcare Businesswomen's Association Leadership Conference, Computer Training & Support/Technology Performance Management, DE Women’s Entrepreneurial Expo, DE Women’s Conference, and the National Association of Women in Business Regional Conference.
Debra plays bass with Music Nova Orchestra, enjoys playing piano for fun, traveling, reading, and long walks on the mountain. She lives with her husband in Phoenix, AZ, and enjoys visiting their terrific grown children in Hong Kong & New Jersey.
